Coronavirus - Passenger Information

Dear passengers and visitors, Hannover Airport is also affected by the consequences of the coronavirus. On this page you will find all current information.

 

Due to the spread of the coronavirus, many airlines have reduced their flight schedules and canceled connections. Flight cancellations can therefore also occur at short notice at Hannover Airport. Air travelers are asked to check with their airline or tour operator about the current status of their flight before starting their journey.

Security check / hand luggage regulations
Due to the current restrictions, only one piece of hand baggage per passenger is allowed in the security check. Additional bags must be checked in at check-in.

Face masks in all terminals
All guests and passengers must wear a face mask in our terminals. If you do not have a mouth and nose protection, you can purchase one in many entrance areas (machines) and from EDEKA on the Airport Plaza, departure level between Terminal A and B.

  • Keep a distance of at least 2 meters between each other
  • Sneeze or cough into the crook of your arm or into a handkerchief
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Wash your hands regularly and sufficiently long with soap and water

The company EcoCare operates a Covid19 test center on the departures level in Terminal C. Only symptom-free people who have previously registered online are tested.
