Restrictions on the S-Bahn from 18-23.11.2024

Due to construction work between Hannover Nordstadt and Hannover Hauptbahnhof, there will be restrictions on S-Bahn services from Monday, November 18 to Saturday, November 23. This will affect lines S1, S2, S4, S5, S21 and S51.

From Tuesday, November 19 to Friday, November 22, all journeys on the S5 line between Hanover Central Station and Hanover Airport will be canceled. A rail replacement service will be provided from Langenhagen-Pferdemarkt.

With HAJway, you can proceed directly through to the security check in Terminal A or C via a separate access point where your reservation and boarding pass are checked and avoid longer waiting times. Currently, this service can only be booked for flights in Terminal A and C.

With your reserved time slot, you can go directly through to the security check in Terminal A or C and avoid lengthy waiting times. At the security checkpoint, please have your boarding pass ready.

Reservations can be made starting two days before your flight. You will need your flight number and must enter your email address and name. It is recommended to reserve a time slot at least two hours before departure. The last time slots that can be reserved are one hour before departure. Please plan to arrive at HAJ in plenty of time to check in and check your baggage before your pre-booked HAJway time slot. Time slots are valid 10 minutes before and after the specified time. You can continue to use all general security check-in accesses even though you have a HAJway reservation or outside the booked time slot.
